TSI’s QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM

The foundation of TSI’s Quality System is the ANSI/ASQC standards and our Continuous Process Improvement Model. Both are documented and implemented in all areas where products/services are produced. All activities conform to the 20 quality elements of ANSI/ISO/ASQC Q9001. Adherence is enforced through TSI’s corporate Quality Control Officer and through Task Order Quality Auditors and Managers. These standards are applied to all functional areas in Seaport-e and all subsequent task orders.

For each task order, a Quality Control/Assurance Plan is developed, including delineation of responsibilities, manuals, procedures, checklists, flowcharts, artifacts and inspection schedule.

One of the main elements of the Plan is the collection of quantitative measurement data and the evaluation of that data. Evaluation of that data are used to make adjustments to the processes, tools and environment to improve the quality of our products and services. Without measurement data, an activity cannot be evaluated or improved.

Data area collected through announced and unannounced audits, regular activity documentation, inspections, reviews, and spot checks—as delineated in the quality Plan for each task order. These identify any non-conformances and verify the existence and implementation of the Process Improvement Model.

The model places ownership of the quality system in the hands of the personnel providing our products and services. This ensures that quality is built into products and services versus relying solely on an “outside” inspection program. All supervisory staff are trained in using our Process Improvement Model and are responsible for its implementation.

Our senior staff, Corporate Quality Officer, and Task Order Quality Auditors and Managers meet regularly to discuss our quality system processes, trends, and improvement possibilities.

All TSI team members have agreed to these performance requirements.
